Local market selling a CASE of 500 ml cans of Benediktiner Original a Helles Lagerbier for $10. WOW, I can't brew a case of anything for $10. Bought 3 cases for $30 including recycling fees.

IMHO expiration date in beer is to ensure you have a fairly fresh product...
Not to express it is not fit to drink...
You may buy expired beer that it is still good...
But you may not be able to complain if you buy "expired" beer that does not taste good...
Even moreso if you paid discount prices..

Nothing wrong w/this beer. Damm good and "crisp".

I'd probably steer away from hoppy styles but some styles even benefit from aging. For 10 bucks it wasnt much of a risk.
