I want absolutely nothing to do with that mess that is going to take place at 18th St.

Not sure if this info is out there yet, but it will be ticketed event with at least a morning and afternoon session...sessions will include small pours of BA beers and run about $20. The morning session is likely to be majority investor tickets. I imagine most if not all tickets sales will be IP. More details to come...

I SAID I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT MESS KEN!!! ;)

Is it worth it to the modern beer bro to drive down to Munster, use vacation/personal time, get name on a list that they can't resell (additionally, can't double up on tickets)??

I'd say nay.

For those that actually need tickets to go?

Sounds like a sweet deal. Plus early AM beer sales for those that wanted to make the trip even more worthwhile? Neat!

Well done, FFF.

If it was GA tickets I would wholeheartedly agree with you. But remember that A tickets come with bottle purchase rights. #newmoney LOVES rare bottles that can be flipped for other rare midwest stouts. Plus lines.... #newmoney LOVES lines too

But they can't buy a 2nd set of tickets if they already purchased them online it appears?

No physical tickets.. just drivers license name/address onto list people are saying.

I'm sure they can concoct some way to get around this though (but again, bringing several people down means several people losing out on PTO for the same return on investment)..

Never underestimate the overwhelming stupidity of New Money.

One thing I'm going to be interested to see this year is how much #newmoney don't realize that the golden tickets don't guarantee the right to purchase BADL, and pitch a fit when theirs is scratched off and isn't a winner.

I walked right in around 7:15 this morning and grabbed mine...no line at all. They have the tickets, hard plastic...pretty cool looking, but are putting them in an envelope with a photocopy of your ID. They will be available to pick up early DLD morning.

Confirmed. I rolled up around 10am and there seemed to be a couple of boxes of plastic tix left. Was actually a bit stupefied by the whole scene.

No one here. In and out with a ticket and BIF spoils in 5mins.

I...ummm....

If only they squeezed in one more oz. to that goblet, it would be the perfect vessel for Markintharing DL!

Great, so that's another $45 I need to allocate to the shenanigans (pair of gold snifters & a bag of coffee). Plus another $15 if everyone's buying goblets and I decide I like the look of them. And another $12 if I get a hankering for caffeine while standing in line and decide like an idiot to take one of those cold press bombers to dometown.

That reminds me, I need to remember to pack Imodium for immediately after I chug 22oz of coffee.

Do not dome the whole bottle. Heart may explode.

on my list again: laughing at the idiots standing in the hours long line for rare glassware and coffee

Wait so I'm NOT supposed to spend hours waiting for fancy glasses? Why else am I going again?
