Just racked a gallon of buleberry mell, and noticed black mold in the siphon tube. Do I "**** can" it? Or wait and see what happens.

Did you sanitize your tubes? It is possible that it is dead mold in there, or that the alcohol was high enough to kill it off? At any rate, spend the few bucks and buy new tubing.

Just had this problem myself,
I got lucky and noticed it before i moved the wort to the carboy.
Ran to the hardware store and picked up some more tubing while i chilled.

I know it sounds dumb, But i have a checklist i use to make sure i remember to do everything. Rinsing out the tubing after i am done with it just got added to the list :)

I like to soak all of my small pieces including teh tubing in my bucket while I sanitize everything else, it may be in the solutin for a long period of time, so there should be no issues with mould etc.

However, like others have said, no one sanitized years ago (or in prison) so let it ride for a bit and try it.

Just make sure there is no air exposure; keep the container topped up fully. Even if you picked up a few mold cells, if you keep them cut off from air, you shouldn't have any problem.
