Hi all,

Today I bottled my cyser and there was some really black sediment at the bottom. Much darker than I have seen before. In addition, there were also some white blobs that looked like cheese kurds (this is probably wax?). Below are some photos.

In general, it smells alcoholic and normal. There didn't seem to be a pelicle or anything at the top.

Should I drink it? Any idea if it is fine? Thanks in advance! :)

Here is what I did:

I made a simple cyser with some local pasteurized apple cider and some raw honey I purchased at my local wine store. I used a campden tablet, then 24 hours later I used some wine yeast. This was my second cider (first was very simple with nothing added). The fermentation went as expected and finished within a few days, then I racked it. it sat for about 2 months and slowly started collecting some black sediment at the bottom.

I've had black n white sediment in cider before when i've used champagne yeast. It looked like fine grain sand no globules. Taste it.
