So I just scored a 29"x29" sheet of perforated stainless 3/32-5/32 about 1/16 thick or thicker for $25. Got it off of old reliable craigslist! I am going to wait a bit to see what size im going to cut it into since I have some large pots that would take a 20" diameter false bottom or do two 14"-ish ones for keggles.

Anyway to my question, are there any tricks to cutting your own false bottoms? I figured I might make a jig to mount my grinder in a fixed location and then put a nail through one of the holes to spin the sheet on and spin it around the grinder.

Any other sugestions? I do not have access to a plasma cutter or metal horizontal band saw.
