What's up guys / gals. Just wanted to make a quick thread with a picture of my custom BIAB rig. I was heavily inspired by these forums for years and finally designed exactly what I wanted. Honestly now that I've done 5~ 10 gallon batches on this thing I wouldn't change anything. It's perfect for what I need. I still respect 3 vessel brewers but I really think BIAB is the most well rounded, easiest strategy for brewing high quality all grain beers.

Thanks, cheers. :tank:

Nice rig. All I can add is you *might* (it depends on your flowrate) be able to shave a few seconds off your chill time if the heat exchanger is mounted vertically with the wort traveling bottom up and your water going top down as opposed to the horizontal mount.

Thanks for the tip but it is already so efficient and fast I'm not gonna mess with it. Such a good chiller (But to anyone reading i use a hop screen bag so I've never had a clog. Just make sure to soak it and clean it after / before each use.)

Very nice do you just use the jacket during the mash with a lid on or do you need to fire the burner while you mash? Are recirculating during the mash?

I get up to temp, dough in - stir like crazy, and if im low on my temps ill fire back up , then flame out then put the jacket on. The jacket holds temps and only loses about 3~ degrees F over 60 minutes. Just gotta make sure it's on very SNUG. I used large Velcro squares on the inside bottom and top of the jacket.
