I quickly went to a swamp cooler. I got a large Sterilite bin, Cut holes in the top for the neck of my Better bottles. In the dark without coats from the second batch.

No I ferment in a temperature controlled chest freezer. I assume it is dark inside.

I have a couple cardboard boxes that the carboys came in. Just unfold it slightly to poke the air lock through the bottom.

I have the back section of my cellar curtained off with blackout drapes. When it's too cold I have another closet that's a few degrees warmer. Guess that's not that creative, but it works.

I just turn off the lights. I have a storage room in the basement that only really gets used routinely for my brewing.

I use cheap thermal insulated bags. They fit my fermenters perfectly, and they're particularly useful for keeping kveik beers warm.
