So, I came home and my fridge was at 40F... damn temp controller!!! Fermintation has slowed to a crawl!

I've got it back up to 65... but don't want to stress the yeast too much.

Any recommendations?

Are you absolutely sure that the temperature controller is definitely malfunctioning? Does the line running to the temp sensor look intact? Was the temp sensor in a reasonable position or could it have been in a weird spot?

Is there any chance you have a basement or other cool place you can keep this in? I don't know what the ambient temperature down in Huntsville has been like, though.

I'm actually stationed in Italy...

My basement is a steady 60-64f

I actually found that I plugged it into the wrong plug... total idiot move!

Anyway... issue solved... question is: will the yeast bounce back?
