That's about right...and why I love craigslist...that place is a gold mine :D

I use a program called 'FREE CRAIGSLIST READER PRO' (just go to download.com and type in 'craigslist')

I use the program to search multiple cities close to me. I live in charlotte, so had I not been using the program, I probably would have missed this good deal. With the help of the program, I can search charlotte, statesville, hickory, winston salem, etc all at once.

I found this one using the term 'brew'.

i personally always search beer, keg, homebrew, home brew, and brew. usually brings up good results.

Its funny because every time I search CL, I could make gallons of coffee, but no homebrew.

:D

I do the same thing. Searching variations of corny (or cornie) helped me find my current set up.

Congrats. I'm up 85/52 just south of Winston. Now I know who my competition is on CL.  I've been trolling the free columns lately. Lots more spam/phish lately. They are getting smarter too.

I currently search Beer, homebrew, home brew, stockpot, stock pot, turkey fryer, grain mill. I grab the RSS feed for each of these and put each of them in an RSS reader gadget on an iGoogle page. I can easily reference several times a day.

Either my eyes are broken or you're off by about $500 on that one.

I think mine are broken too, then.

When I read the listing as linked, it now appears to be just for the stand & burners. There is a comment that the pots in the pictures have been sold. I guess we know who has them. :)

Nice find, and nice that the owner was willing to split up the rig.

:mug:

I actually use Google alerts with the site:atl.craigslist.org flag and various keywords. I have it e-mail me any time a keyword shows up, regardless of relevance. End up seeing a lot of used kegs, coffee setups, etc, but I've scored free propane tanks, tools, etc... Still waiting on a fellow Atlantan to put his three-tier up! lol...

I think I can beat the OP's craigslist score. A little while back I scored 2 pots from the same guy for a total of $380 and that included shipping to me. The 2 pots were both Blichmann's and still had the original price tags on them Neither pot came with a lid or a dip tube brush, but a 20 gallon and a 15 gallon Blichmann pot for 380:ban:

I have put them to good use making a 10 gallons of Berliner Weisse and 10 gallons of Biermuncher's Cream Ale recipe.
