I'm trying out Craftbeerpi3. It's running. I have temp probes attached and they are working. I have a cheap space heater attached and it works when I turn it on in the Craftbeerpi3 GUI.
I can't get the heater to turn on automatically in the Fermentation section of Craftbrewpi3 however. I'm sure I just don't know how to set it up to work that way. I've tried different options in the Fermentation setup GUI. If I use the BREWING part of the GUI and click on the Car/Auto button, the heater will come on. I use Hysterysis logic setting on both the KETTLE and FERMENTATION hardware settings.
I have a temp probe in the wort. I have another temp probe outside the wort. I have the "set" temp to 68F and the temp in the wort is at 66.76F. When I press the "Car" / "Auto" button, the heater doesn't come on. I changed the 'Set' temp to 80F and the heater still doesn't come on (thinking the current temp might be within the offsets).
If I click on the heater button in the GUI, then the heater comes on.
I also tried a step/program on the Fermentation page and the heater wouldn't come on when using that either.
I can give outside access to the GUI if it would help.
Are there tutorials on using the GUI interface? Especially for the fermentation feature? Or, I guess for all features for that matter.
