Or a MAW for brewing equipment! Wanting to step up to all grain, but I'm broke! Lol

I converted a 48qt igloo cooler using a CPVC manifold and bulkhead from bargainfittings.com and am in the process of converting a keggle. I like the freedom of all grain.

Glad it didn't find it's way to the trash by accident!!!

Very nice score on that Conan slurry, I'm a little jealous right now!

I gave some to a friend to plate and he hasn't had the time. Whenever he does, I'd be happy to send out a few vials.

My buddy is supposed to be opening his nano in a month or two. I wanna see if I can culture what I've got from the can and turn it into enough for him to possibly use. I pitched the idea of making a yeast bank of really good limited yeasts and he sounded up for it.

I can ship you a vial of slurry if you want.

Especially after the haul you hooked me up with.

I'm taking a surprise MAW!!
I just know it will be awesome!!

Thanks for the offer, think I'll take Ed up on his offer right now.:mug:

Thanks Ed!!! I'd love to get my hands on some. You still have my address?

I guess I should have made some slurry from the heady's I drank. Only thing is I usually drink it from the can. I would like try try it in my next IIPA

I must say I'm surprised to see that they say to drink it out of the can instead of pouring it into a glass. Can't make heads or tails of it.

They say its to preserve the hop character in the beer, but I think it's because it's such a murky beer. I poured it in a glass because that's what I do with every beer. The appearance doesn't matter so much to me when everything else about it is great.

I poured my first one in a glass. I like the murkyness. I feel IIPA's shouldn't be filtered. I think Pliny is and I am not a fan. Heady smokes it as does surly abrasive.

Pliney was being sold, before rows of simcoe were ever being planted

I completely agree.
Not saying Pliny isn't a great beer, but it doesn't live up to the hype. It's just okay when compared the the other IPAs out there. Heady and Abrasive are definitely at the top of best DIPAs and are so much better than Pliny in my opinion.

You'll be blown away!

I understand people say that freshness is an issue. Especially when living outside the distribution area. But I agree 100% and because I support my local :)

You should remove Nightstalker. It is awful!

Edit: Oh, and ill take this one as well.

My SWMBO is happy when I send stuff out. Not so much when it arrives. She says I have too much beer in my cellar. Probably true but I enjoy specialty stuff.

This will probably be my last one for a bit. SWMBO is going to hurt me if I keep shipping stuff. I packaged up a 29lb monster last night :p I've got several from Blizzard's list so I hope he will be happy :)

Just explain your doing a great deed by making someones wish come true. I'm sure she'll understand :D

Thats what mine says about me with my cigars. To be fair she's probably right but it is what it is lol.

SWMBO: More cigars?!?!?

Me: Yea, I got the opportunity to snag a box of flying pigs so I jumped on it :rockin:

SWMBO: Ugh dont you have enough cigars already? What the f*ck is a flying pig anyway?

Me: :D :ban: lmao

This list is probably going to slow things down. I need to do more research on beers I want to try. Hopefully, I'll have some more posted this afternoon/evening.
