does JK can? :cross:
Haha! I don't ever see that happening. :D

I agree 100%. Especially since they bottle-condition all of their beers.

I can list quite a few tall might like but never hear of outside texas. Some good beer coming out.

Next week a rum barrel imperial pumpkin stout and a bourbon barrel DIPA are coming out. Yummy.

Mmmmmm Rum-barrel-aged Pumpkinator... Can't wait!

Dam splatt you got blown to pieces, beautiful haul. And I could pick this emaw up yrogerg, but I wouldn't be able to give you enough extras that you aren't already getting to make it with it, so I'll pass on this one. 😉

Thats a really nice package splattsmier, and congrats on the job. I really need to get my posts up so I can get into this maw.

Okay seriously, someone give Mark a medal. This is insanity. I can't thank you enough man. Seriously stunned. And pretty sure a MAW recipient would be jealous.

Alright here's what you guys really want to see - the beer porn!

Oh, one more thing...half of those big boys like moohoo, dragon's milk, etc are most likely from his cellar since they are 2012s.

AND ONE MORE THING: Nailed the interview. Pending a background check and physical, I've finally made it into the industry!!!

You're welcome - glad everything got there safe and sound. In the end, everything came out of my cellar or beer fridge - school was cancelled all week so I couldn't get out to shop so I just dug deep :)

Great news on the interview! :mug:

I'm striking out on 90% of the beers on the last 3 lists. All these years I thought I've been drinking good beer. Turns out I'm not even able to get them.

And of that, I've only got a single stout...

I have some Noir and Bomb, but only a couple of each. I should've bought a bunch of them. I won't make that mistake when coffee and vanilla noir land next week. :D

I'm the one who buys too much lol. Got a bunch of bomb and noir. And waiting on the variants

Where are you guys going to be picking up the vanilla and coffee next week?

Prairie said they're shipping early next week so it might be Friday or the week after by the time it hits Houston. There's a Spec's location on I-10 I frequent that I'm hoping gets some. I bought Bomb and Noir from there so I'm hoping they'll be getting these as well. I need to stop in and talk to the beer guy next week. Some HEBs got Bomb and Noir too, so I might be checking a couple of them too.

Real Ale, Ranger Creek, Deep Ellum, Lakewood, Adelberts, Karbach, Saint Arnold, Buffalo Bayou, Southern Star(although I think they do distribute to a few other states, but their Buried Hatchet stout is a must have IMO) and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. Another Texan will come along and suggest some if did forget.
Freetail has made a couple of my faves from TX

When I was in san Antonio, DC recommended going to Spec's and HEBs. First place I went was an HEB and there was a security guard with a shotgun at the front door. I reluctantly went in and the beer selection was what you would expect at a place with shotgun wielding guard at the door. Thought DC was screwing with me, but Spec's was awesome. Sorry for the :off: but you just reminded me of that.

Haha! That's awesome. Not all HEBs get the good stuff, but if you find one that has the right person in control of the beer department, you can pick up some good stuff that sold out at Spec's a long time before.

What Wes said below. Its all who controls the beer depends on the selection. Also there is more than one HEB around lol.
