I so want to grab this, but just got out of surgery, so I can't ship for some time. I'll just sit here jealous of all these MAWs and trades.

How long is some time? If you can grant the wish I don't mind waiting if its not too long.

I'm probably looking at the end of February. There is a chance I can do it before then, but that is definitely a long wait.

Yeah that is quite a wait. I was hoping you were going to say 2-3 weeks, but end of February might be a bit long. Cheers for the thought man.

So I know I'm a couple posts short of the 100 post minimum, but I think since I'd be shipping the beer to the MAW recipient first, it's close enough, yeah?

Indy, I believe that I might have one or two New Glarus Thumbprint Berliner Weiss at home, and I think there might still be some Schell's Framboise Du Nord in some local stores still.

If I have the New Belgium, would 2 of those be sufficient? Otherwise, how does one of the 750ml bottles of Framboise du Nord sound in place of 2 regular size bottles?

If the proposal above along with my close to 100 post count seems like a reasonable wish fulfillment, let me know. :)

PS - This is a hard style to find around here (perhaps everywhere outside of Germany), and both of these are fairly limited (the Framboise probably more so).

We just went through this a few pages ago.

A link to the "this" you're referring to would be appreciated. Honestly, I only read through the last 4 or 5 pages in addition to the first post. :)

EDIT: Nevermind. I just found the posts.

Bummer. I figured my couple of itrader feedbacks, plus the fact that I was shipping without receiving anything right away, coupled with the quality/hard to find Berliner Weiss's that Indy was looking for might have outweighed me being 25 posts short of 100. (which, btw seems to be the only missing criteria in my case)

Sorry. :(

The thing that is being referred to is that it was just said a couple days ago that there would be no exception to the rules. On another note twenty or so posts can be made in a matter of minutes

Thanks for clarifying. I edited my post above. I found the posts from the OP you're referring to.

I realize that the posts can be made in short time to get me to the minimum, but that kind of goes against the reasoning behind that rule a bit, I would imagine.

No worries. I'll let someone else that meets the requirements fill it. :)

Nic killed it. Super excited to try these beers, i had myrcenary once and had to have it again. Haven't had their IPA and the Avery sounds awesome. Cracking the Dales as we speak! Thanks again.

I feel shame that the guy from WYOMING had to send the CO beer. ..
:)

It's been done many times before and is even helped and encouraged by a lot of people

I'd really like two different Berliners but if its up still up tomorrow I'll try to throw something else up to make it easier to grant. Want to give it the full 48 hours.

I'm glad everything arrived safely. Enjoy!

Not really. The spirit of having 100 posts is to contribute to the community. So go out and try to answer some questions or ask some of your own and get to 100 posts. Then come back and hook Indytrucks up so we can see a new list ;)

Or just go play some word games for a few minutes

It's been done many times before and is even helped and encouraged by a lot of people

I guess this is why the post minimum seemed a little arbitrary to me, especially since that was the only thing I was lacking, but since it seems that the consensus is in favor, I have started to do some post-whoring.

I should be up over 100 by the end of the day. :)

Haha!

I work in IT, live in the Twin Cities.

Why do you ask? :D

Because now you only have 17 posts to go! You can go make someone's day and tell them that the krausen on their first homebrew is normal and not an infection and that their beer will taste ok :) haha then you'll be one step closer and make someone's day
