good morning guys,

i bought a costco kegerator for my basement pub and I'm looking for a cleaning kit suited for this type of hookup. i've read and shopped around but I'm looking for experience and proven methods with this unit. thanks

Danny

I wouldn't recommend a kit. Just use pbw and hot water. From time to time take apart your faucets and clean them out, soaking in hot pbw mix. Every time I fill a new keg I rinse it out well, then fill with hot water and pbw and shake around/let sit as necessary. Then I hook it up and run the pbw mix through the lines/faucet. I repeat with starsan.

that sprayer doesn't look like it will fit on my line, the hookup i mean

If you are using homebrew kegs - I just use BLC http://amzn.to/1prfNID and force the solution through the lines/faucets right from a keg. In my opinion PBW is not really the best choice for cleaning beer lines and taps.

I would also recommend using these "kleen plugs" http://amzn.to/1rqHDqv otherwise fruit flies can (and probably will) lay eggs inside your taps in between uses (ugh :( )
