haha, no problem. i really wish this site would have a FAQ with things like this listed.

all in all though, i think i paid around 30 dollars for a bulk set of o-rings, just one set of lids, and two sets of post - one buna-n and the other silicone, and two sets of dip tube - one regular, the other double seal. this should last me a while, i think.

so correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it, Coke and Pepsi have stopped using cornies, thus, they are not made any more....so this means there is a limited supply, and with the popularity of homebrewing, there will be none left someday no?

Actually that's not strictly accurate. I am involved with 2 non-profit organizations that offer soda at events. One is coke and the other is pepsi. Both events get their soda in cornies, since there's no way to hook up a water source to a bag system.

To be sure: cornies are not their preferred system and it can be hard to get the distributor to admit that they offer soda in that format but they do have it and will deliver and pick up.

Either that or there are a couple thousand people a year who are only imagining that they are drinking soda in the hospitality suite.
