I have had some bad experiences with picnic taps leaking beer or gas, and would like a different setup. One even sprayed beer all over my fridge, wasting all of my gas and sticky liquid gold.

How do these faucet taps work for everyone?
Can I leave these on while hooked up to gas in the fridge?

Until I built my coffin box I used a couple of these. They work well. I would recommend throwing them into the fridge for a little bit before connecting them or monitoring them after you first connect them. As it cools it may contract a little bit and you could lose some. I learned the hard way, as it was secure when i set it up, but it leaked the keg dry once it cooled down. I still use them for parties and portable applications and they work great.
