I decided to disassemble the posts on one of my Cornelius kegs. My deep sockets are in storage, so here is the short adventure I had yesterday: I ended up buying a set of 11 long handle combination wrenches at Harbor Freight, for about $20. On line at Sears, one 7/8" 12 point wrench was $28!

Ah, the joy of selling the farm, and temporarily moving into an apartment, (1200 miles away) and having most of your good stuff in storage about 500 miles away. (Like the deep sockets).

Happy Home brewing

I got lucky at Big Lots.
I bought 2 deep sockets for about 1.50 each. I have pin lock kegs, and bought two sockets in case I screwed up grinding out the notches for the pins.
