I made it and it wasn't bad a little bitter from the hops but it just needed more sugar in the recipe.
Obviously you wouldnt want to use ipa trub or something that wouldn't taste good but my graham cracker smores stout trub was delicious in bread

i dont like wasting things and it tasted great. is that not a good reason?
 
I was thinking the same thing today actually. Asians use the "trub" from brewing sake in many dishes.
