So, I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll just post it here. I am making the move from extract brewing to all grain and I have a staple beer that my friends and family like, however it is an all grain recipe. My recipe calls for Briess Golden Light LME and I'm looking for what I can use in an all grain recipe.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Also what conversion is it, is it 1 lb LME for 1 lb grain?

Thanks...

Mike

For Briess golden light, I'd use US 2-row. Use 1 pound of grain for every .75 pounds of LME, and 1 pound of grain for every .6 pound of DME. Once you know your actual efficiency, then you can put the actual amount of grain you need to meet your desired OG but that's a good place to start.

Thanks to both of you. Both the formula provided by ncbrewer and the method by Yooper provided the same result....

Now just to go by the shop and pick up some ingredients....
