I'm getting ready to make the jump to AG very soon. I'm in the process of getting the mashing equipment all put together and what not. Question is this-
I have a couple of extract recipes that are REALLY tasty. Is there a method of converting the amount of extract in a given recipe to what would be needed in grains? Also, if I'm using different extracts (ie:dark lme for a stout), would I need to get a different type of grain? One of the reasons I'm switching is because I've figured out a significant drop in my per batch price based on buying grain in bulk. I suppose if I have to, I can just come up with some new recipes. Any help would be appreciated.
