Connecting draft faucets to homebrew

I'm getting ready to connect my beer tower and I'm not sure about how the tubing connects to the back of the faucet. I'm wondering if I need the tailpieces here?

It sounds like the tailpiece screws onto the back of the faucet with the beer nut, and then the tubing sticks onto the hose barb. Is that correct?

You got it...you need a tailpiece with a barb and I would suggest a hose clamp to secure it.
