With doing my first Helles at low temps, 52 or so, I am noticing some condensation forming in the cooling coils as well as water on the floor of the fridge. I am guessing it is because the fridge turns on and off to keep the temp at 52 but wondering if anybody else has had this issue.

I think you've got it. Not sure what you've got ,but with my fridge (old mini fridge with the plate bent down), it's not made to hold the temp I have it hold, therefore, the chiller plate drips... a lot. I combat this by putting a towel on the floor of the fridge. I probably swap it out every few days or so. Or as needed.

Yup, it's just condensation.
As Floppy said, a couple towels on the fridge's floor will soak up the moisture, containing it, so it doesn't leak out and get on your floor.

Some of those kind of fridges may have a drain in the back, to route drips from the coil to the outside, where there's a little reservoir on top of the compressor, where it evaporates.

Check for any air leaks to reduce ingress of (moist) air.

Thanks guys. I am sure I am asking it to do more than it is capable of as I put two 2x6's for a collar to hold my bucket and a keg or two. I think I am going to go back and reset it or just drop it down to one 2x6 instead. It will still hold the bucket and maybe one of my kegs should I try and do keg fermenting.

Check for any gaps, especially larger ones, and fill them with caulk, dense packing foam, and/or put tape over them, if you can/care. That should reduce air ingress, until you open it again. Check the door seal too.

My upright keezer also gets a (little) puddle on the floor, same thing, from condensation. I just keep a couple old towels on the keezer floor and a few times folded-over one as a threshold.

An EVA-dry unit can help control that moisture. You'd may need 2 of them, one in use, while the 2nd one is drying. They plug into a socket to dry out.

When I built my incubator, I solved the minor dripping problem with a drip channel to remove any water from the inside

Look at the big brain on Claudius! I'm sure I'm not the only. One that would love a write-up on that.
I used too many high-tech tools that many home brewers may not have or can't afford to do the fridge conversion. :D

So you doubled the size of the fridge (more or less) but you're only trying to maintain 52F. Doesn't seem like too much to ask. Like the reptile said, check for gaps. I used 1 inch weather stripping between my fridge and collar.

i put some foam insulation on the wood parts but it still seems to lose about a degree an hour or so. I checked and did not see any gaps, but once this beer is done I will give it a good once over. Thanks
