My basic immersion wort chiller set up is leaking and new worm clamps did not solve the problem. I am thinking it is time to switch to compression fittings instead of buying a new chiller. Does anyone have a parts list for this?

Thanks,

Joe

I've found that if I heat the chiller up in boiling water, or wort for that matter, then I can really tighten down the worm clamps and get rid of any leaks.

I did that for a while, even replaced worm clamps.

Are you planning to connect to garden hose fittings? If so, you can get the brass fittings at any HD or Lowe's for about $10. You can get either compression or solder type. Depending on the diameter of your copper tubing, you might also need a reducer fitting.

I dont have a parts list but I can take some close up pics for ya, Ya gotta do 3/8" compression to 1/2 or 3/4" fitting to attach to a garden hose fittings..
