Too few entries for a separate category?
So as someone newer to competitions, I should make sure I enter the correct sub-category (e.g. 9c Baltic Porter) and don't worry about which final category it ends up in. Guess it's up to the contest what they do and how many entries they get for each sub-category.

Sounds likely... earlier this year I entered a bier de garde and it got grouped with Belgian ales.. I mean it scored well but when going against some dubbels and tripels it didn't place, but ultimately I was after the feedback more then anything with that entry. My other beers in that comp took some blue ribbons.
