Commercial beer Gravity Reading

Hello all,

Does anyone ever take a gravity reading of commercial beer they bought...just for fun? I have a local beer that puts the FG on the bottle and I was thinking about testing it to see how accurate they are b/c why not

You can, and a lot of people do when trying to really clone something. You need to completely degas the sample to get an accurate hydro reading.
