I have only seen the following bottle caps at my LHBS and online:

gold, blue, hooch, and brewer's best.

Does anyone know of a supplier of different color caps. If some place sold red, green, blue, black, gold, etc etc. I would buy many different colors instead of writing on my caps.

Anyone know of a source?

I use 1" circle labels (Avery) from Office Max.

There's a FREE add-on you can download from Avery that attaches to your Word and places an icon on the tool bar for formatted labels.:D

Great idea! Can you post a pic?

I'll have to check that out. I don't make labels b/c I lack ability and desire to do them, but I think I could handing making cap labels and would enjoy spending the comparatively smaller amount of time required to make them.

Here you go...as promised...

I use the Avery 3/4" rounds - allows for identification and I don't have to scrub off another label to reuse the bottle.

I used to make large labels for the front of my bottles and found that when I put them in a cooler of ice, and eventually water, the ink would run and the label would fall off.

If I labeled the caps they are usually above the water line (when standing).

www.homebrewheaven.com sells a variety of colored caps, as does http://www.homebeerwinecheese.com/ (call for colors). I bought my original stock from homebrew heaven (I bought navy, teal, red, black, silver, and dark green, and they also carried blue/white and gold ), and then called Beer Wine and Cheese, looking for more (alas, they only had the same).

www.breweryparts.com also carries white and yellow (which are the last 2 I'm looking for) but only sell 10,000 at a time.

Here's why I was looking for colored caps: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=12509

Hope that helps.
