color of rubber on 02 scavenging caps

Before I contact a retailer I wanted to check on something. I ordered some caps that are supposed to be 02 scavenging. Every 02 scavenging cap I have seen has a grey opaque rubber coating. The caps I got have a white semi transparent rubber coating.

There's an $8 difference for the quantity I ordered. It's not a huge deal but I still want to make sure.

I have regular and O2 absorbing caps form AHS and they look identical.

That's sort of what I'm hinting towards. How do you know if the O2 caps are actually O2 scavenging?

Well AHS put them in a pink bag labeled oxygen barrier. I'm just going to have to trust them. Truth is I probably would never know the difference.
