I was in Cologne last week for business and enjoyed quite a few tall skinny glasses of Kolsch. Walked by the Bier Museum, but it was closed. I was in Cologne back in the summer for a day when it was hot as hell and for some reason didn't get a beer. I made up for it last week. I even took a couple of bad photos with my phone. The first one is the cathedral viewed over one of the Christmas Markets and the less obvious one is the Bier Museum. You can barely see the Sion Kolsch sign on the brick wall below.

97-99 I worked in Cologne a lot, and drank my fair share. For a while my coaster for coffee at the office was one marked with 96 hash marks from a team dinner. That was only our end of the table. There were 2-3 other coasters constituting the total tab.
