College Homebrewer

Hey everyone, I just started my senior year at WKU in Bowling Green KY. Im also starting my first brew tomorrow. I have done the "mr. beer" crap before and turned out bad (my ingredients were old). So im ready to move on to the big times. Im making an Amber ale, let you all know how it turns out.

James over at Basicbrewingradio.com has been helping me out a bunch and I'd recomend you download his podcast and vidcast

nope doesnt make me a dorm brewer... i wish i was that would have genius, i live in an apt now.. just started with the brewing too...

I used to brew in University too, but actually got started in high school. (It's ok, I was 19, the legal drinking age-Ontario made us finish up to grade 13.)

I'm on my second batch right now, an Irish Red Ale kit I got from austinhomebrew.com
