Hey everyone my mother in-law got me a 48quart cooler for Christmas. I'm going to stick with 5 gallon batches, seems to be a good size for me lol. Anyways I was looking for a parts list to convert it over. I attached a picture of the cooler she got me thanks

One long bulkhead

One 2 piece valve

And from there, it depends how you want to set it up
Simple: get a bazooka screen and wrap it in a paint strainer bag($3@ big box hardware store). Attach it with a female to female nipple.

Or build a cpvc manifold.

Cheers!

Thanks I will look at which route I will go and see what works the best

Yea that's what I plan on doing is batch sparging, I will just need to see how much dead space there is since the drain isn't completely on bottom

Or get a bag from wilserbrewer. I'll eventually go that route, but have spent enough already, for now...

Buy a voile curtain at Walmart, lay it in over the edges, use the existing drain. If the curtain sucks into the drain, pull it back a bit, or put a kitchen strainer over the inside. Cheap and easy.
