I'm going to be harvesting the yeast from my current pale ale, first time for me. I usually crash my beers at near freezing temps for about 48 hours prior to racking the beer off the cake into the keg. Since I'm going to be harvesting the yeast, will this crash kill or hinder the yeast? Should I skip the crash if I am going to harvest? Any advice would be great, thanks!

I cold crash too and harvest yeast after bottling. Got 2 buckets fermenting from washed yeast that's a few months old.
