Saw these bags on scAmazon and wondered if they would be tight enough to filter out pellet particles while recirculating through the chiller. Don't know which has smaller bits -- coffee fines, or ground up hops?

Anyone with experience?

hi, no experience, but i am going to do something similar to filter hop pellets. i bought a reusable metal coffee filter and reusable cotton coffee filters and will use them to filter hop pellets. i am planning to make a psuedo hop water extract by putting hops in a mason jar with water, letting that sit for a few hours, and then filter it. i will add the filtered hop water extract to a keg and force carb to make hop water. i am waiting on the final pieces of my supplies to arrive, but i intend to do a write up of my first go.
i make cold brew coffee and tea and filter those in a similar fashion, so i can assume filtering the hop pellets from the water will yield similar favorable results.
