cola and yeast

what do you guys think would happen if you dumped a packet of ale yeast in a one gallon jug with some cola in it? do you think it would be too acidic for the yeast? white soda maybe? theres plenty of sugar in either to ferment.....

I would let the soda go flat before you add the yeast. I would have to say you would end up with a pretty disgusting alcoholic beverage. I would use a wine yeast so it's more tolerant. Only one way to find out, my friend...
