It would be helpful if I could take out the partition in my top freezer refrigerator. Does anyone know if I would be cutting into refrigerant lines? Generally speaking. Fridge is 15-20 years old. Also, if there aren't lines and I can remove the partition, are there any other potential issues?

Thanks for any help.

I heard of people using thermal cameras to locate refrigerant lines...

What is the intended purpose of this project? Make/model/pics would probably get you some good info from other people on HBT...seems like you're better off getting a standing freezer of CL. My $0.02

I just posted a similar idea, but to answer you, look up a manual of parts for your refrigerator OR you may be able to go into the control panel with the thermostat in your existing fridge and find a set. I had an entire wiring diagram with coil locations and air flow diagrams that they store in there.

Mine is a Kenmore, and I had no coils in the partition.
