I am starting a coffin keezer build and I anticipate the chest freezer lid may get quite heavy. What are people using to help lift the lid and keep it open during a keg swap? I can think of several options:
- just use brute force to lift and a stick to prop up the lid
- add extra OEM counterbalance hinges (they're pretty pricey for my Kenmore 8.8)
- add box lid support springs
- add air springs
