Hey all,

For my second batch of beer I've made I decided to make a 2 gallon extract coffee stout. It has been sitting in the fermenter for about a week now, so next week I plan to bottle it. In the bottling process I read that I can brew some coffee and add it into the bottles. My question is how much coffee should I add per 12 ounce bottle?

Thanks for your help.

You need to do it to taste. Basically, take a measured amount of beer, and add small measures of coffee to that, tasting it as you go. Then multiply that up to figure out how much to add to the bottling bucket so that the coffee is evenly mixed.

Last time I made a coffee beer, I used cold-brewed coffee (24hrs) and put about a pint into 5 gallons.
