CO2 tank on CL

I found this CO2 tank on Craigslist, but it doesn't have the right valve. Do you think it could be swapped for a 5# beverage cylinder? If so, $15 looks like a deal.

Ask your suplier, also check if it's out of date, I think my last Hydro test cost about $20.

That looks like some sort of CO2 fire extinguisher to me. I doubt you'll be able to swap it out directly for a tank with proper regulator but call around and check welding supply/ fire extinguisher refill places. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Looks like a standard CO2 extinguisher to me. I doubt you'd be able to swap it outright for a beverage cylinder, but you should call your local CO2 place and see what they're willing to do.

Hydro here is $25 I'd bet the valve is $20 too. It looks like its seen better days your probably better off waiting for a better deal.

That's what I figured, since it is still there today. When cylinders go up on CL here, they usually get taken right away. But, I keep checking every day. I only want one for a back up, so at least I can wait it out.
