So I've been putting together a keezer, and the last thing I needed was a co2 regulator. As luck would have it, a buddy of mine had an old one kicking around he was willing to give me. Only problem is, the low pressure gauge is busted. Still seems to regulate co2 pressures just fine, but just doesn't give a reading.
So, I figure I'll just replace the gauge. Problem is, I have no good local source for co2 parts. I can order stuff online, but being in Canada, shipping for a single gauge is a bit much. (Worst case, it's a good excuse to tack a bunch of other gear onto the order since I'm already paying for shipping.
)
The real question I have is this: can you use compressed air gauges for co2? I can think of at least one place locally where I can probably find a reasonably low psi compressed air gauge. I figure that gas is gas, right? If the thread matches, it should be fine. But, I know nothing about this kind of thing, and I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the situation?
Thanks!
