Had some free time last night so I threw together a quick extract brown ale using a bunch of ingredients I had laying around.
Steeped:
8oz chocolate
8oz crystal 90
Extract:
4lb 8oz DME
4lb LME
Hops:
1.5oz Nugget @ 60
.5oz Cascade @ 10
.5oz Bullion @ 10
1oz Centennial @ 1
Fermenting with two packs of US05.
All in all, it didn't really save me that much time. I didn't have to mash, which saved a while, but that's basically hands off time.
This is my first extract batch with the capabilities to do a full boil and chill quickly, so I'm excited to see how it turns out.
