Do they make see-through lids for plastic fermenter buckets? I would like to see how the brew is fermenting, without the need for a glass/plastic carboy. I'm looking at buying a brewing kit, and all the kits I've seen come with white or blue lids.
My Cooper's microbrew kit's fermenter (looks like the body of the Lost in Space robot) has a clear top section on the screw on lid. But it's always covered with condensation,so visibility is limited. The newer Cooper's DIY fermenter is clear enough to see through.
My Mr. Beer keg fermenter is brown, but you can see in well enough to view the fermenting brew. It was easy to tell when the foam was building and subsiding.
