Look on this forum on how to disassemble and clean ALL parts, thoroughly. A PITA, but a wasted batch is an expensive PITA.

Thanks - yes I do know how to disassmeble - just wondering if there is a secret to cleaning the old stainless so they look at litte presentable?

I found that they had a lot of sticky stuff on the outside, which is probably a mix of spilled soda and stickers. Goof off did a pretty good job getting that off. I hit them with some Bar Keepers Friend Cleaner and Polish and got them a lot nicer than they were. Or you could go all out and give them the Bobby M treatment.
