I use an " Ale Pail" (food grade bucket) for primary fermentation. I was wondering what to use to clean out the bucket? Do you wash with dish soap? Just rince it out? One step sanitazer? What is the best way to wash out a food grade bucket? Thanks for any advice!

Soap, water etc... then sanitizing will work. Another option is to fill up the bucket and add some oxy-clean, especially if you have alot of stuff stuck inside the bucket.

Rinse as much as you can, then take a soapy sponge to the stuff that's left, like the ring of crud. Don't use the scrubby side of the sponge.

Then fill your bucket with cool water, add 6-7 tbs of bleach and let it soak - all day, overnight, whatever, just a long time.

After you empty the bleach solution rinse well with hot tap water and you're good to go.
