I'm just wondering if you can use oxy clean as an equipment cleaner ? Someone said it can be used as long as it has no fragrance added.

A lot of people on here use OxyClean free (I think is what it's called). I remember reading somewhere that, while very similar to PBW, there are some differences... but it seems to work for a lot of people.

I swear by oxyclean free. You need to make sore it's the free one though.

look around here on HBT or google for "DIY PBW".

PBW is Powdered Brewery Wash... A made for brewing cleaner.

According to the MSDS the two main ingredients are the main ingredient in Oxyclean and the main ingredient in TSP-90 (not regular TSP!)

So lots of folks use a ~ 70-30 mix of Oxyclean & TSP-90

I personally use Sun Oxygen Cleaner (an Oxyclean knock off available at Walmart for a lot less than Oxyclean) in my DIY PBW mix.
