Clean brand new CO2 lines?

Brand new CO2 setup (tank, lines, fittings), never been used before... OK to just hook it up and start carbing or do I need to clean and sanitize?

As far as I know, nothing will live in a CO2 environment. But just to make sure, I would at least sanitize the connections. it never hurts to be too clean.

I only clean and sanitize the connectors, not the tubing. I'd rather keep the gas tubing as dry as possible.

If they're covered in (grain) dust they'd definitely need to be cleaned.
