I still have the second album," Hot Rod Lincoln Drags Again", with a candy purple AA/FC on the cover...a coupe bodied digger that was what " A Altered Fuel Coupe" was in my day. Gotta dig out the old albums for a video someday...

That is old cool stuff. It was a fun transition including rockabilly and country getting into a little rock and roll. Car songs had a pretty good run well into the 60's. That says a lot for the cars. There aren't all that many kayak songs that were in the top 40.

I have another old one titled, " Hot Rodders Battle rock-n-Roll", with ruby short & his Dragsters. Old music mixed with drag sounds of the day. Some really cool sounds on that one from my youth.

I always liked the part at 6:40 where it's solo keyboards for a bit and the intensity builds before the drums come back and bring everybody back in.

Have you ever heard the comedy sketch where two people are discussing the lineup at a rock festival? It's a riff on the Abbott and Costello "Who's On First?" routine. The Who and Yes figure prominently in the discussion.

Ok so I know a lot of remakes are not as good as the originals. Good remakes though can be classics. Van Halen's "Pretty Woman" is in my opinion a good remake. Well I really think this remake is spot on and with Sammy Hagar hitting the vocals and Neil Schon on the guitar like only he can play lead, and I think you have a winner remake! The original is great though! What do you think of this one?
