Classic brew recipes

I want to start brewing some classic beer recipes so I can see what they're "suppose" to taste like and start building upon them. I've opened the joy of home brewing to reread and have come across a section with what looks like classic style recipes, approx pgs 154-165 in the third edition. Does any one know if these are good recipes to play around with or if there are any other resources? Any help is appreciated.

I have loved everything I brewed from brewing classic styles. Another good source is brew your own magazine.

I totally agree BCS is a great book. I also think you will enjoy the recipes in "JOY" too.

Thanks everyone! Im going to start with some recipes from joy however will definitely check out bcs. I have read a few issues of BYO and am highly considering a subscription.
