I brewed 10 gallons. Put it in 2 fermenters. One came out clear. One cloudy. What could be the difference? Only difference was dry hopping different hops in each. Both were cold crashed.

Any idea what is going on?

Thanks.

When did you add the clarity ferm? Is the cloudiness caused by yeast or hop particles that you can tell?

Ya I'm wondering if one just got more trub or the yeast didn't settle out quite right. I use cf in every batch (except for heffs) and I've never had a cloudy beer when using it. The only cloudy one I've ever had was because I accidentally kicked up a ton of yeast during siphoning. Fixed that problem by going SS chronicals ha!
