Hey all! I just bottled up the best blonde ale I've had to date! It was so good I wanted to share the recipe. It's a nice light/crisp beer with a touch of fruitiness (VERY SLIGHT). It's plain enough for the macro lover and just enough for the craft brew lover to enjoy. I had an idea of mixing new school (Citra), old school (Cascade), American(hops and all malts except Maris Otter), and British (Maris Otter and Nottingham). This right here hits the spot! The whirlpool hops were actually used as flameout and the wort was immediately chilled. This was fermented at 64F until fermentation slowed down then raised to 68F. It was ready for cold crashing 5 days from pitching the yeast (Notty is a beast). The other note I would offer is this was very tart until cold crash/gelatin. Once the notty yeast flocc'd is when this shined :) I also used the light and malty water profile from Brewers Friend and built this up with Reverse Osmosis water. Here ya go!
