So I received a request to brew a cinnamon blonde ale. I have never seen a blonde with cinnamon added but I believe in the right recipe, probably one of a honey blonde, it could work so here is what I came up with:

5 lbs. US 2 row
4 lbs. Wheat Malt
8 oz. Flaked Wheat
8 oz. Honey Malt
4 oz. Caravienne

Mash at 150F

60-00: 1 oz. Hallertauer
10-00: .5 oz. Hallertauer

.5 oz. Cinnamon Sticks (steeped in Vodka) added to secondary.

For yeast, Wit Ale WL400

Est. OG: 1.054
IBUs: 20.1
Color: 5.3 SRM
ABV: 5.5%

Let me know what you guys think! Probably going to brew this up this weekend.

I made a holiday spice ale last year with cinnamon among other things. I learned that less is more when adding a cinnamon extract to the secondary. I can't say how much is too much but I found my spiced beer to have a harsh and unpleasant back of the palate taste that took several months to mellow out. I haven't experimented so I can't be specific, the only advice I can offer is to be judicious
