Cigars in Mexico

Need help. Girlfriend and I are going to Mexico on Sunday til Friday to an all inclusive resort.. I've only ever been to Canada, never been to Mexico. Am I allowed to take my own cigars with me or do I have to buy them there? I may or may not be drunk and too lazy to look it up any other tips would be appreciated as well since it's my first resort. It's Riviera Maya.

Whatever you do, don't buy any Cohibas anywhere other than a LCDH. Any "good deals" on Cubans are likely laughably fake.

I don't know whether Mexico lets you take a certain number in or not, so I can't help with that. Have fun, though, and drop by the Stogie Thread sometime.
